THE COST OF FRIENDSHIP
The Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, defined 'a friend as a person you know well and like, and who is not a member of your family'. Hence, friendship is a relationship between friends. But the questions here are:
who is a good friend? Do we accept everybody that comes our way as a friend? The answer is in the negative as every human being has priority and goes for what pleases him or her.
No doubt, there are very many people who present themselves under the guise of a good friend but turn out wolves in sheep's clothing. A good friend spurs you to discover your goals in life. A good friend watches your back. He or she is one who is ready to die for your course. A good friend feels your joy, happiness, pain with you. He or she is your other self. Good friends never harm each other and can not be a party to each others downfall. A good friend is golden and costly to find easily. It takes the time to build a good friendship and will be traumatic to destroy it. Therefore, cherish your friend!
